“Went out on a tour last night (June 23, 2021) and got to see the amazing cliffs at sunset with the sun glowing off of the rocks and capture not only the sunset, but also the strawberry moon rise from (Lake) Superior,” Chrissy Barnes shared on the Cruises’ Facebook page. “Was the perfect ending to the evening. I will definitely book more tours with these guys when I visit again!”

“Some of the things we saw were: Lover’s Leap, Battleship Rock and Battleship Row (looks like a row of battleships), Rainbow caves (with the dripping water), Chapel Rock, Chapel Cove (which we went into), Miner’s Castle, Spray Falls, East Channel Grand Island Lighthouse, plus much more. There were many caves along the shoreline … It was a great day.”

“Exceeded My Expectations”

“I had really looked forward to doing this cruise, and it exceeded my expectations. Staff in the store and on the boat were super nice all around. The tour was well-narrated… without being intrusive so. We were able to get up super close to some of the rock formations. Gorgeous natural beauty all around. Highest recommendation!

If I make it back this way again, I will do this all over again without a moment’s hesitation. Thank you so much!” said Syndi C on Google Reviews.

“We thoroughly enjoyed this cruise touring the Pictured Rocks on Lake Superior. We didn’t have the best weather, as it was cool and overcast the only day we had available. However, we were just glad that it didn’t rain on us, especially since I wanted to ride up top where it’s not covered,” said Dana L on Yelp.

“The captain and crew were great. All the information provided during the boat ride was very interesting, especially the geological facts

…The tour itself was a great ride and they were able to get close enough to everything to give us incredible views. They were also very safe in their driving.

The best part was pulling into the small cove and then backing out. There is a gift shop … if you want to purchase souvenirs. If I were to come back to the area, I would consider repeating this boat ride, and I usually don’t like to repeat much. Definitely recommended.”

“Lovely cruise. We bought tickets online a couple weeks prior. It sells out quick, so don’t hesitate if this is on your list of travel sights to see,” says Christine C. on Yelp.

“The narration was great. They explain a lot, the waters, the sights, and the stories, and a few jokes. The sights are beautiful and worth seeing. We went on the sunset cruise and the glow of the sun on the cliffs on the way back was beautiful. Great trip. There were small restrooms onboard and they sold sodas.”
